Libby Lee

Teaching Artist

LIBBY (she/her) is a New York based actor and educator. She has a BFA in Industrial Design from Seoul National University (which recently became famous in the US thanks to Squid Game) and studied Musical Theatre at Circle in the Square Theatre School. She is passionate about education, and has been teaching on some level ever since assisting her English tutor mother with lessons since she was but a wee 6th grader. Her favorite role to date is when she played Rose Mundy in Brian Friel’s “Dancing at Lughnasa'', partly because learning the Northern Irish dialect was a blast. Playing Mariana in “Measure for Measure” is up there as well. People making up voices for their pets will never not be funny, and videos of soldiers coming home to surprise their kids will always make her cry.
