Getting Creative During the Pandemic

With a group of students in the Tri-state are, during the fall of the pandemic in 2020, we offered a very special improv class with middle school students. We allowed them to create their own story. unconfined from the tropes we often tend to enforce on our students. The allegory in the story is prescient, and we think it shows how students were grappling with the ways people handle survival - is it every man for himself or is it a group effort?
